Karan Johar is one such celebrity who has never shied away from speaking what’s on his mind. Be it about his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, his sexual orientation, or his fallout with Kajol – Karan has always been extremely honest about his life to the media. No wonder the paparazzi loves him! The film maker launched his first ever book “An Unsuitable Boy” in Mumbai today which has him make some shocking revelations about hi life. From talking about it tiff with Kareena Kapoor Khan to coming out of the closet, Karan has said it all in his book. The book was launched today by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Karan has never uttered those three words but c’mon he has been SO vocal about his sexual orientation right from the start. But he thinks that it’s become a sort of source of entertainment of people. "People judge my sexuality because they think they own me, since I am in their living room every day as a TV personality," he said at the book launch. His equation with Shah Rukh Khan

"I found SRK very animated and real when I met him for the first time," Karan replied. Karan and his father, Yash Johar, had gone to meet Shah Rukh to discuss casting him in Duplicate. "How SRK respected my father meant the world to me," said Karan. "My dad started as a production assistant so his instinct made him carry the actors' bags even when he became a huge film producer... He even asked me to lose some weight so that he could launch me!"

His relationship with SRK’s family

Everyone knows that Karan shares a special bond not just with King Khan but also his family. "My love for Shah Rukh and his family has been constant and consistent," said the director-producer at the book launch. About his fallout Kajol

"Good friends" Kajol and Karan Johar reportedly turned foes during the release clash of their respective films Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay. "I don't want to say anything more (about her)," he told Shobhaa. "Chapters end. Books end. Relationships end."

On an unforgettable experience while watching his own film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna which revolves around infidelity

"When I was watching Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji's lovemaking scene in KANK during a preview, a couple was sitting next to me. The man assured his wife that it is a dream sequence... As soon as they realised that it was actually happening in a KJo film, they left the hall!"

His experience in Bollywood so far..

"In relationships, there are ups and downs... there are turbulent times. But I have to say the soul and the heart I have found within the fraternity of the industry is amazing. Shah Rukh Khan’s ode to KJo

This was indeed the best best part of the event. Shah Rukh paid a touching tribute to Karan where he went on to say, "Karan's is an extremely beautiful and important life". "Why 'An Unsuitable Boy'? His autobiography could have have been titled 'The Good Boy'. His parents would vouch for that. It could also be called 'The Intelligent Boy'. Not in terms of Wikipedia knowledge, but Karan has the gift of knowing people inside out. It is very tough to keep up with me so I can say he is one of the best conversationalists (I have come across). His book could even have been titled 'The Sensitive Boy' — even I am very sensitive, so I know!" "It could have been called 'The Brave Boy'," SRK continued. "He will remain the most beautiful boy I have ever seen in my life. After 25 years of work, and at 51 years of age, I feel I have truly arrived because there is a full chapter dedicated to me in his book."
