What Jhanvi Wore

Styled by Esha Amiin, Jhanvi flaunted a floor length and colorful number by Rippi Sethi. The gown with symmetrical prints, bright hues and a sheer skirt was replete with motifs. Striking a pose with that poise and confidence she pulled off the look with élan.  Also, the transparent fall of the dress enabled Jhanvi to flaunt her toned legs. Skipping the accessories completely, Jhanvi sported a sleek centre-parted hairstyle and dark lips. As we pondered and wondered, we recollected the ensemble from Katy Perry’s video from 2013. Jhanvi’s gown is distinctly a rip off from the smash hit music video, Dark Horse by Katy Perry. Committing a huge fashion faux pas, Jhanvi was a victim of two grave errors, stylist and designer malfunctions! While we laud Esha Amiin’s sheer style vision to envision the young Jhanvi in a bold ensemble, the rip off was evidently missed!

The ensemble looked resplendent on Katy in the video! A designer malfunction in tandem with a stylist malfunction resulted in the youngster being a target of the fashion pundits! Jhanvi, has on many occasions dazzled us with her sartorial style sense. But choosing a rip off for an International red carpet appearance was disappointing as hell! The star kid is all slated to make her silver screen debut soon enough, but in the bustling fashion world; she is already making her presence felt loud and clear!
