RBL Bank appointed Vincent Valladares as head of its commercial banking division. Valladares, a former Citibank executive, will be responsible for driving the bank’s lending to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies with revenues under Rs 2000 crore. He will report to MD & CEO Vishwavir Ahuja. He has been with Citibank for over 22 years and was its managing director, Middle East, and head of the its commercial banking division. A bachelor’s in technology in petrochemical engineering and he also has a master’s in management studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute in Mumbai.
