Filmfare Awards 2017: Disha Patani, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha among the ditzy divas who went Bold with Black on the red carpet!

Going bold with black on the red carpet, Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty, Bhumi Pednekar, Disha Patani, Vidya Balan, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Sayani Gupta dropped jaws and redefined black once again!

The coveted Filmfare Awards 2017 concluded over the weekend and needless to say, it was a sparkling affair to remember, hosted by King Khan Shah Rukh Khan. Udta Punjab and Dangal stole accolades. The show also saw performances by Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Upping the sartorial quotient, the recently concluded 62^nd edition of the Filmfare Awards 2017 saw quite a few B-town beauties going Bold with Black on the quintessential red carpet. Kriti Sanon

Red carpets are incomplete without a classic thigh high. Kriti Sanon stepped her fashionable foot (quite literally) in a thigh high Shehla Khan gown. With Aurelle by Leshna Shah jewelry and Aldo stilettos, Kriti’s non-messy hairdo totally glammed up the red carpet.

Diana Penty

Dressed in an Alfazairy couture gown with jewelry by Harsh Sagar, Diana’s muted yet regal avatar was breathtaking.

Disha Patani

Bringing the sexy quotient on the red carpet in a black fitted Nicolas Jebran gown and Intoto sandals, Disha was styled by Leepakshi Ellawadi. Supermodel Gigi Hadid had worn the same ensemble at the American Music Awards 2016 last year.

Sonakshi Sinha

If its goth, its Sonakshi! Ringing in a sexy -meets-gothic vibe on the red carpet, the Akira actress wore a Gauri &Nainika cold-shoulder gown with accessories from Anmol Jewelers and a pair of Louboutins. With her hair in a tight updo, she was styled by her go-to stylist, Mohit Rai.

Vidya Balan

Retaining her distinct identity and embodying elegance in the classic weave by Raw Mango and accessorizing her classic look with a necklace from Amaze by Johri Jewels, Vidya was styled by the Who Wore What When duo Pranay Jaitly and Shounak Amonkar.

Pooja Hegde

The Mohenjo Daro actress looked gorgeous in an Ali Younes sheer gown and accessories by Minawala Jewelers. With her hair in a neat hairdo, Pooja let the opulent dress speak volumes and was styled by Aastha Sharma.

Bhumi Pednekar

Snazzy dressing is her forte and proving us right for the umpteenth time was Bhumi Pednekar in a Hema Kaul knotted gown. Going heavy on accessories, Bhumi wore Swarovski earrings, statement rings from Minerali Store and sandals by Charles and Keith. She was styled by Shaina Nath who gave her a shimmery green contrasting Jimmy Choo clutch to round up the look!

Sayani Gupta

The firecracker Sayani ringed in a sultry vibe in a black ace of spades creation by Rhea Pillai Rastogi and went the minimal accessory way with Accessorize India. She was styled by fashion stylist Shreeja Rajgopal. With her hair gelled back in a sleek way by Sana Pathan and bold makeup by Sahithya Shetty, Sayani pulled off the sexy-meets-dangerous look with aplomb!
