Kerala: BJP worker's wife who suffered injuries after their house was allegedly burnt by CPM workers dead

After Radhakrishnan, his brother's wife, Vimala also died of the burn injuries after CPM workers burnt their house down in December.

After BJP worker Radhakrishnan, his brother's wife Vimala has also died of burn injuries. Radhakrishnan died on 6 Jan, both suffered burn injuries after their house was burnt allegedly by CPM workers in December.

The BJP worker's house in Kanjikkode in Palakkad was burnt after CPM workers in the area allegedly set fire to bikes parked in front of the house. The fire then spread to a gas cylinder which exploded and burnt the entire house.

Vimala had suffered 40% burn injuries and was admitted at a Palakkad hospital. Vimala took her last breat at 9am. Four people suffered burn injuries in the incident that took place on that unfortunate day.

The injured were Kannan, a former panchayat member and a BJP worker, his brother Radhakrishnan and Kannan's wife Vimala. The house was completely gutted in the fire. The incident was a continuation of ongoing clash between the two parties in the area said police.

Radhakrishnan, the BJP worker who suffered burn injuries in the below mentioned incident succumbed to his injuries. He died at 2.50pm today at Trissur Jubilee Mission hospital.
