Meet the Arrinera Hussarya GT

The Arrinera Hussarya is a supercar produced by Polish automotive manufacturer Arrinera Automotive. It is the first supercar designed and engineered in Poland. It is named after Poland’s Hussar cavalry. The Arrinera Hussarya GT is the racing version of the road-going supercar that has been in development in Poland for several years already.

The aero kit, developed at Warsaw’s Technical University, features a flat floor, track-scraping splitter, oversized diffuser, a giant rear wing, “air curtains” around the wheel arches, and small winglets. At its heart sits a 6.2-liter V8 good for anywhere from 420horsepower to 650, depending on specific series regulations, fed by an air scoop on the roof and driving the rear wheels through a Hewland 6-speed sequential transmission. Ohlins designed a pushrod suspension for the Hussarya, which also features Alcon brakes, Bosch ABS, and Michelin rubber.

With its carbon-aluminum honeycomb construction, the entire package weighs 2,755 pounds. Arrinera plans to run the Hussarya GT in GT4-category events, while looking at series like the Pirelli World Challenge and British GT Championship. Privateer racing teams will be able to order their own version from £139,000 – which works out to about USD200,000.
