Two Rajasthan youth feared drowned in sea

Two youths were feared to have drowned after they ventured into the sea for a swim at Revupolavaram Beach on Sunday.

VISAKHAPATNAM: Two youths were feared to have drowned after they ventured into the sea for a swim at Revupolavaram Beach on Sunday.
The victims have been identified as Prem Singh (22) and Yakub Khan (20), both from Rajasthan, were living at Dharlapudi village and working in a confectionery in the same village run by the Rajasthanis.
According to S Rayavaramn sub-inspector S Arun Kumar, the duo, along with six persons, went to Revupolavaram Beach for a picnic.

Having entered deep into the water for a swim, they   were pulled in by the swirling waters, the police said.
After the incident came to light, the fisherfolks and locals ventured into the sea along with police. However, the duo could not be traced till the last reports came in.

Yakub Khan was recently married and Prem Singh was a bachelor. Their parents in Rajasthan were informed about the incident, the SI said.
It is learnt that the search operations were halted for want of light and iit will be resumed on Monday. A case has been registered.
