Sheffield Eagles have made former Hull KR and Warrington forward Jordan Cox their first major signing for 2017.
The 24-year-old prop, who was released by the Wolves at the end of the 2016 season, has signed a 12-month contract with the Eagles, who are re-building their squad after confirming their place in the 2017 Kingstone Press Championship.
"This lad has bags of ability and, at 24, still has the potential to improve," director of rugby and Mark Aston said.
"His talent isn't in question, that's why coaches were prepared to take him in Super League. He can play, of that there is no doubt."
