Singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi to get her eyesight

Playback singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi is all set to get her eyesight back. The singer made her film debut with the Malayalam film Celluloid that starred Prithviraj in the lead. She sang the number Katte Katte. She also sang En Jeevan number from the Vijay-starrer Theri. Her portions were received well. Her songs in Tamil include Mazhai Ingillaiye (Ammani), Soppanasundari (Veera Sivaji), Aaravalli (Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran) and Pathu Endrathukulla (Pathu Endrathukulla).Reports are the singer, who has been undergoing treatment for her eyesight, is likely to get her eye sight. In the meantime, Vijayalakshmi is all set to tie the knot with musician Santhosh in March.
