Guess who will replace Farhan Akhtar in Akshay Kumar starrer Gold!

Akshay Kumar has an interesting line-up of films ahead. While this year, he will have four releases - Jolly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0 and Padman, he has already okayed a few scripts for 2018 as well. One of them is Reema Kagti's Gold.

Gold will revolve around the life of Olympian Indian hokey player Balbir Singh. Apart from Akshay, the film needed another actor in an important role - that of a parallel lead. While Farhan Akhtar was approached for the role, he has turned it down because he doesn't want to play second fiddle to anyone. 

And now, the makers have roped in someone else for the role. Who? Saqib Saleem. The Bombay Velvet actor has been offered the part but it now needs to be seen if he takes it up.
