Fake Manpower Consultancy, travel agent arrested

(Siasat News): The Central Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force has arrested a travel agent who was running a fake manpower consultancy.

35-year-old Mohd. Abdul Shaad along with his brother Mohd. Irshad has been running a fake manpower consultancy by the name Aero vision Tours and Travels at Sapphire Complex at Chapel Road.

This is how he was deceiving the unemployed youth. He used to take Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 promising them to send them to Saudi and other gulf countries on lucrative jobs.

He used to take the passports of the youths and misled them saying that visa process was going on. But it was not to be.

After some time he would return their passports saying that the visa application was rejected. He had deceived 25 to 30 unemployed youths.

According to Immigration Act, those agencies registered with ministry of labour are authorized to send recruits abroad. Task Force also seized three passports, a computer, Rs. 1,15,000 in cash and other items.

Later he was handed over to Abids police.

Man jumped off the building

(Siasat News): A man jumped off the building to commit suicide in Gachibowli.

It is said that 34-year-old Raju was the resident of Gutla Begumpet and was the native of Nepal. He used to work as a cook. He jumped down from the same hotel building where he was working.

Police said that yesterday he had spoken to his mother and said that he was going far-off. It is further said that after abandoning his home, he was upset by his loneliness.

Police Gachibowli has registered a case and further investigations are on.
