Man kills father over property dispute in Ujjain district

INDORE: A man hit his father on the head with a stick, killing him on the spot, over a property dispute in Barnagar area of Ujjain district on wee hours of Friday.
The incident took place early in the morning when one Lakhan Singh hit his father Juwar Singh with a stick, cracking open his skull, Barnagar police station in-charge Vivek Kanodia told TOI. Juar Singh and his wife owned two pieces of land in Khandwasura village.He was staying away from his family for some time.
Lakhan had been entering into fights with the piece of land in Juar’s name, Kanodai said. Police have booked Lakhan for murder. He was yet to be arrested.
