No traffic movement on K K Road this Sunday for Chitra Santhe

The Chitra Santhe will showcase the work of artists from across the country.

BENGALURU: In view of the 14th Chitra Santhe being organised by Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, restrictions have been imposed on traffic movement on Kumara Krupa Road on Sunday from 7am to 7pm. The Chitra Santhe will showcase the work of artists from across the country.

A press release from Bengaluru Traffic Police on Wednesday said all types of vehicles will be prohibited on both sides of the Kumar Krupa Road (from Windsor Manor Junction to Shivananda Circle) during that period.

Vehicles coming from Maurya Circle and Anandrao Circle and  going towards Windsor Manor should head straight at Race View Junction on Race Course Road towards Trilight Jn - Basaveswara Circle - Old High Grounds Junction - T. Chowdaiah Road - Windsor Manor and ahead.

Vehicles coming from P G Halli and going towards Shivananda Circle should move towards Old High Grounds Junction. It should move in the direction of LRDE Jn - Basaveswara Circle - Race Course Road and ahead.

The release said public can park their vehicles on Railway Parallel Road and Race Course Road from Trilight Junction to Maurya Circle of Eastern side. 

“Traffic congestion is expected at Trilight Junction during commencing and closing of the race at Bengaluru Turf Club on January 15. Due to shortage of parking area, people coming to the programme are requested to avail public transport.”
