In Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki 12 January 2017 episode, as Soumya, Harman and Surbhi are done with the pheras, Saya (aka Mallika) comes with all her kinnar friends knocks on the door. Veeran opens the door and everyone gets shocked to see them. Preeto asks them why have they come. Saya refuses to talk to her, and tells her that she is a part of this society and hence, it is useless talking to her. She talks to Surbhi and Harman, and reminds them both of what they did to get Soumya back from them. She reminds Surbhi how she followed them like a shadow and finally took Soumya away. Soumya stops them, but Saya doesn’t listen to her. Saya tells Harman that he promised her that he will keep Soumya with him till the end of his life. She tells him that she understands that he also wishes to enjoy his life but then,why did he misled Soumya into believing that he loved her. She goes on and on and asks Surbhi that how can she marry her own brother-in-law. Did she forget all her love for Soumya and fall for wealth?

Soumya tries to explain to them that Harman and Surbhi are marrying each other because of her, and she has asked them to do so. Saya again refuses to listen to her explanations and tells her this cannot be her plan, because she is so simple and naive. She tells Soumya that she will call everyone from her community here and not let this marriage happen at any cost. Soumya tells them how everyone in Harman’s house respects and love her. Soumya pleads to Saya that she is like her mother and explains her that she is fine with Harman and Surbhi’s marriage and wants to live there with them. Harman tells Saya he doesn’t want to break Soumya’s kasam because last time when he did, Soumya got harmed. Saya’s heart melts and she starts leaving when she sees Soumya crying and pleading to her. Harak Singh stops her to give her ‘nek’, but she refuses to take it and warns everyone in their family that come what may, Soumya shouldn’t get harmed, otherwise they will have to pay a big price.

Preeto tells Harman and Surbhi to go and take Durga Maa’s blessings. As everybody leaves, Preeto stops Soumya and asks her to decorate the room for Surbhi and Harman for their first night. She tells Soumya that she can can take as many pheras with Harman but she will never become his wife because she is a kinnar, and from today onwards only Surbhi is Harman’s wife.

Soumya prays to the Durga Maa that even if Surbhi has pheras with her, she wants her to be happy in her married life. Preeto tells everyone that even if the marriage happened inside the house, the ritual of ‘grah pravesh’ will happen. She asks Shanno to prepare the ‘pooja thali’. Shanno hands over the ‘pooja thali’ to Soumya and asks her to welcome Harman and Surbhi so that they can come inside the house. Preeto stops Soumya and warns Shanno not to poke her nose in their business. Harman counter questions Preeto and asks her why can’t Soumya do the ritual. Preeto tells him that Soumya is a kinnar. She snatches the thali from Soumya, as she does that, Surbhi takes Soumya’s hand and tells Preeto that they all have married together, so Soumya should also be welcomed in the house again. This annoys Preeto but she is unable to say anything. As Harman, Soumya and Surbhi enter the house together, Preeto watches helplessly.
