Sukhbir files nomination from Jalalabad, Badal from Lambi

SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, accompanied by wife and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, on Thursday filed three sets of nomination papers in Jalalabad.

Harsimrat also filed two sets of nomination papers as the covering candidate.

Sukhbir later alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal is hand-in-glove with radical groups and was trying to disturb the peace and harmony of the state.

He alleged that the AAP was behind throwing stones at his cavalcade and hurling a shoe at Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal recently.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Badal filed his nomination from Lambi. Harsimrat Badal was the covering candidate.

Cabinet Minister Bikram Majithia also filed his nomination from Majithia.
