AccorHotels solidarity week 2016 witnessed the unity of Fairmont Nile City, Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah, Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor, and Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan in a charitable initiative at 57357 Children Cancer’s Hospital.

The hotel teams wore golden ribbons to raise awareness about childhood cancer on Fairmont Nile City’s first solidarity week under the AccorHotels’ umbrella.

In an objective to put a smile on the children’s faces, the hotel teams including Frank Naboulsi, regional vice president and general manager Fairmont Nile City, and Laurent Betourne, area general manager, Sofitel Egypt, Sofitel Luxury Hotels and Resorts, lent a helping hand to the hospital by throwing a fun day with a DJ, magician, clowns, and toys subsidised to Fairmont Nile City by Hamleys Egypt to lift the spirits of the little warriors in their fight against childhood cancer.

Naboulsi gave an opening speech at the hospital’s auditorium expressing gratitude and eagerness to be part of such a noble cause saying: “we are grateful to be here today and we are equally impressed and proud that 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital has now reached 74 per cent cure rate. We encourage everyone to support this cause and together we can help reach even higher survival rates.” He led the contributing colleagues to distribute gifts to in-room patients.
