Phil Bale: Cardiff report is 'spotlight' on good and bad

Education is key to addressing the "entrenched and growing inequalities across all aspects of life" in Cardiff, the city's council leader has said.

Phil Bale was speaking as the Liveable City Report was published on Thursday.

The report paints a picture of the city in 2017, setting out its strengths and weaknesses.

It said while Cardiff is growing fast with jobs being created, the benefits are not being felt by all.

Mr Bale said the report was a "spotlight" on both the good and bad in the city.
