The gorgeous Anu Emmanuel made her Malayalam debut opposite Nivin Pauly in the flick, Action Hero Biju. Even though she ventured into the Telugu industry much earlier in her career, her Tamil debut had to wait — and recently, it was announced that she would play the lead role in Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan, with Vishal as the hero.
The latest development is that Anu has been roped in for an important role in Gautham Menon’s upcoming film, Dhruva Natchathiram, which has Vikram in the lead. Even though she hasn’t been signed in as the female lead, it is said that her role takes the story forward. When DC contacted Anu, she remained tight-lipped. She didn’t deny being part of the ambitious project though, and said, “I can’t comment about the film right now.”
Currently, Anu is shooting for Thupparivaalan. “We have completed the majority of the talkie portions and just two songs are pending now. I am looking forward to seeing how the film turns out,” she adds.
The US-born lady also has two Telugu films in her kitty — Kittu Unnadu Jagratha, with Raj Tharun and an untitled movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
