The results of NEET PG 2017 exam are tentatively scheduled to be out by January 15 according to the tentative schedule published on the official website. The aspirants will need to login to the official website and enter  the details which are mentioned on their admit card. The results of NEET PG appear on the screen, the aspirants will be required to take print out of the NEET PG results. The print out of the results can be kept with aspirants for future reference. Aspirants are also required to note that the score card of NEET PG 2017 will consist of candidate’s details along with marks and rank secured.

After clearing the NEET PG exam, the aspirants  can seek admissions to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2017. The NEET PG exam was a Computer Based  examination and was held in 86 test centers at 41 cities. The NEET PG exam was conducted from December 5 to December 13 for the post graduation course. The NEET PG exam comprised of 300 Multiple Choice Questions from the MBBS curriculum which is followed at medical colleges in India. Majority of the institutes accept the scores of  NEET PG exam. However certain institutes do not accept the scores of NEET PG. The institutes which do not accept the score of NEET PG and conduct their own admission process include prominent institutes such as AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, SRICHITRA Institute & NIMHANS. Aspirants are also required to note that the cut off score is the minimum marks a candidate need to secure in order to qualify the entrance test. It is important for the aspirants to note that candidates who belong to general category have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in NEET PG 2017 to qualify it, while it is 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates and 45% for PH candidates.
