Actor Mohit Marwah says he gets motivated seeing the amount of hardwork his cousins Sonam and Arjun Kapoor put in.

“They are such fine and great actors, I feel encouraged by them. I am inspired and motivated by them and the hardwork they put in for their roles. I share a great equation with Sonam and Arjun,” said Mohit.

Mohit made his acting debut in 2014 with the Akshay Kumar produced film ‘Fugly’, also starring Jimmy Shergill and Kiara Advani and directed by Kabir Sadanand. His
second film is Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Raagdesh’.

“I was waiting for something really exciting to come my way and that’s why I took time to sign my second film. The film (‘Raagdesh’) is based on World War II (and) it is set in the 1940s, it’s a period film, based on an Army background,” he added.

The young actor says he is a fan of Tigmanshu and thinks ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ (directed by the latter) is one of the cult and iconic films of Indian cinema. Mohit is playing the role of Colonel Prem Kumar Sehgal, who was an officer of the Indian National Army of Subhash Chandra Bose, which fought with arms against the British imperial rule in undivided India.

“I enrolled in a boot camp style training where I practised in an ‘akhaada’. I also read books based on the Indian National Army to know more about the character I am portraying. I even saw documentaries to get a better understanding of his role in terms of body language, gestures and mannerisms,” he added.
