Parshuram pariwar wants flick banned

According to Kishore, there are some blasphemous scenes in the teaser wherein Gods Shiva and Venkateswara Swamy are treated with disrespect.

HYDERABAD: Members of Parasuram Parivar on Monday called on DGP Anurag Sharma and submitted a representation to him urging him not to allow the release of Telugu flick, ‘Dyaavuda’, which contains few ‘objectionable scenes’.

A ten-member delegation led by Parasuram Parivar President Kishore AVRK told media that the director and producer of the yet to be released film had launched its teaser recently.

“In the teaser, some scenes are objectionable and hurting feelings of a section of people. We requested the DGP to enquire into the issue and ban the release of the film,” Kishore said.

According to Kishore, there are some blasphemous scenes in the teaser wherein Gods Shiva and Venkateswara Swamy are treated with disrespect. The director had shot scenes of a group of people smoking and consuming liquor sitting at a place of worship that would send wrong message to audience, he added.
