SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The CCE Equine program of Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County is hosting the Saratoga Horseman’s Social on Friday, February 10, 6:30PM-9:00PM at Longfellows Restaurant in Saratoga Springs. Horse people love Saratoga, even in the winter! Over 100 people in the horse community come together on this night to socialize and talk “horse”. The cost is $30.00 per person and includes appetizers, light fare and non-alcoholic beverages; a cash bar is available. This event is open to the public.
This networking function was originated by the CCE Equine Leadership committee to encourage horseman of all disciplines to get together and discuss the state of the industry and foster relationships within the equine community. Make it a night out for everyone at your barn, business or veterinary practice. Groups of 8 may reserve their own table. There will be a silent auction with equine themed items donated by local businesses; proceeds to benefit the Equine Classroom at the 4-H Training Center. Donations are still being accepted. All horse related businesses are encouraged to bring their business information/card to put on the Horseman’s Information Table.
