The Competition Council in Romania had authorized the transaction through which SC Vrancart SA takes SC Rom Paper SRL over.

The Competition Council had assessed the economic concentration from the viewpoint of its compatibility with a normal competition environment in accordance with Regulation on economic concentration and found that it does not raise significant obstacles to competition on the Romanian market or on a significant part of it, especially by creating or consolidating a dominant position.

Rom Paper produces and markets toilet paper, kitchen paper towels, napkins and folded towels at national level.

Vrancart produces and markets large rolls toilet paper, toilet paper and paper kitchen towels at national level.
