Taplejung fire engulfs house, valuables
BHOJPUR: Property worth Rs 5.5 million was gutted when a fire broke out at Hangpang of Taplejung district on Saturday.
According to the Biratnagar-based Eastern Regional Police Office, the fire broke out in the house of a local, Mahendra Semba.
Police said the fire broke out when the children were playing with the fire. It eventually engulfed the three-storey house after minutes.
Locals and police had brought the fire under control.
