Quiney cops one where it hurts the most in Big Bash win
Some injuries you just dread more than others as Rob Quiney was given a painful reminder of in the Big Bash League.
The Stars batsman copped a full-blooded fast ball to the private parts during his side’s 46-run win against the Renegades at Docklands.

Quiney was undone by a 146km/h rocket from paceman James Pattinson, who made his long-awaited return from injury.
But the Stars opener probably would have preferred for him to stay on the sidelines for one more match after feeling the brunt of Pattinson’s pace.
Quiney was wearing a box to protect himself but with the ball traveling at those sorts of speeds, it’s an excruciating blow to suffer nonetheless.
The opportunity to make light of the painful incident wasn’t missed by the commentators.
“Everyone else laughs,” Adam Gilchrist said.
“I’ll tell you what I laugh about the most is when the physio comes out in this situation,” Ricky Ponting confessed.
“What can they do, double leg pump?”
“What about the freeze spray?” Damien Fleming offered.
“Get rid of the pain, keep the swelling,” Gilchrist joked.
