Lakshmi Menon approached for Vijay Sethupathi's next

Vijay Sethupathi, who has quite a number of projects in hand, had signed Renigunta fame Paneer Selvam's project sometime ago. The names of Keerthy Suresh, Ritika Singh, Manjima Mohan, etc, were doing the rounds to play the female lead. It is now learnt that it will be Lakshmi Menon who will be paired opposite Sethupathi in the movie, which has been titled as Karuppan.
A source says, 'Lakshmi has been approached by the makers ' she has listened to the story narration, and is said to have been impressed with it.It is likely that she will come on board soon.'
Bobby Simhaa will essay the role of a baddie in this actioner. Lakshmi had earlier paired up opposite Vijay Sethupathi in Rekka.
