Zac Wells: Murder charge after New Brighton assault victim dies

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man attacked outside a nightclub on Boxing Day.
Christopher Cousins is accused of attacking Zac Wells near Evo's Loft nightclub, New Brighton, Merseyside, at about 03:45 GMT on 26 December.
Mr Wells, 30, of Wallasey, suffered head injuries in the incident. He died in hospital on Wednesday.
Mr Cousins, 29, from Poulton, is due to appear at Wirral Magistrates' Court later.
Three other people held on suspicion of murder have been released on bail.
They are a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, both from Egremont, and woman, 26, from Birkenhead.
