Trains services disrupted in Telangana

The derailment of a goods train 30 km before Balharshah, at Wihirgaon station on the Kazipet-Balharshah section at 1 a.m. on Friday led to the movement of several express and passenger trains being disrupted.

A helpline has been set up at Vijayawada with the number 0866-2575038, said a press release.

Some of the cancelled trains are: Train no. 12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express cancelled (scheduled to depart on January 6) and the return Train no. 12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad Telangana Express (scheduled to depart from New Delhi on Saturday). Also cancelled are Train no. 17234-17233 Balharshah-Secunderabad-Balharshah Bhagyanagar Express.

Those partially cancelled include no. 17011 Hyderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar Express that left Hyderabad on Friday, between Ramagundam and SirpurKagaznagar, as also its pairing train no. 17012 scheduled to leave at 11 a.m. and nos. 12757-12758 Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad, to leave at 8.20 a.m. and 2.55 p.m. respectively.

At least a half-a-dozen passenger trains too were either cancelled or partially cancelled or diverted. Trains that were diverted to run via Majri, Adilabad, Mudkhed and Nizamabad include no. 12722 Nagpur-Secunderabad Express and no. 12655 Ahmedabad-Chennai Central Navjeevan Express of Thursday, as also no. 12670 Chappra-Chennai Central Ganga Kaveri Express of Wednesday.

Those diverted to run via Akola, Purna, Mudkhed, Secunderabad are no. 12722 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Hyderabad Dakshin Express, No. 12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad Express and no. 12296 Patliputra-Bangalore Express of Wednesday, apart from no. 12650 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Yeshvantpur Express of Thursday.

Trains that were diverted via Renigunta, Guntakal, Wadi, Solapur are no. 12656 Chennai Central-Ahmedabad Navjeevan Express and no. 12707 Tirupati-HazratNizamuddin AP Sampark Kranti Express of Friday and no. 12621 Chennai Central-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express of Thursday, a South Central Railway press release said.

Trains diverted via Nizamabad, Mudkhed, H.S. Nanded, Purna, Akola include no. 15024 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express of Thursday and no. 12590 Secunderabad-Gorakhpur Express and no. 22691 Bangalore City-Hazrat Nizamuddin of Friday, while no. 12791 Secunderabad-Danapur Express of Friday was diverted to run via znizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.

No. 22631 Chennai-Bikaner Express of Thursday was diverted via Vijayawada, Secunderabad, Wadi and Solapur, while no. 12625 Trivandrum Central-New Delhi Kerala Express of Thursday was diverted via Renigunta, Guntakal, Wadi and Solapur.

No. 12621 Chennai Central-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express and no. 12433 Chennai Central Tamil Nadu Express of Friday were divered to run via Arakonam, Renigunta, Guntakal, Wadi and Solapur, while no. 22648 Trivandrum Central-Korba Express and the Madurai-Durgapura (Jaipur ) IRCTC Special of Thursday were diverted via Vijayawada and Duvvada.

Some trains including no. 22415 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi AC AP Express and no. 12803 Visakhapatnam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express of Friday were diverted via the East Coast Railway System.
