Shahid Kapoor posted the first look poster of Rangoon on Twitter, announcing that "the wait is finally over." He also revealed that the film's trailer will be out this Friday.
The first look poster of Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Rangoon is finally out, and it has piqued our curiosity. Not much is known about Rangoon except that Shahid Kapoor plays a soldier in the period drama, which is set during World War II. After his look from the film was leaked, Shahid had himself taken to Instagram to share his look, captioning the photo: Now that it's out I guess I can post it #rangoon.

This time too, it was Shahid who shared the first look poster of Rangoon. He also announced that the trailer of the Vishal Bharadwaj film will be out on January 6. The gritty poster does not feature any of the leading actors, just a silhouette and the words, 'Love, War, Deceit.'

Reportedly, Kangana will be playing Jaanbaaz Julia in the film, which is rumoured to be modelled on Fearless Nadia who rose to fame as the 'hunterwali' in the 1930s and 40s. The film will hit screens of February 24, 2017, just a day before Shahid's birthday.
