Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (Airy) general secretary Bahadur Singh Rawat today asked the state government to reveal the name of BJP MLA that had purchased a large quantity of gold in Dehradun on November 8, the day of demonetisation.
Bahadur Singh Rawat, while addressing a press conference in Dehradun today, said the state government should name the concerned BJP MLA, who succeeded in converting his black money into white by purchasing gold.
“But Chief Minister Harish Rawat is not sincere and has only set up a Special Investigation Team to investigate the matter as a lip service,” he pointed out. Bahudur also held that the UKD would shortly start a protest programme demanding from the Chief Minister to arrest the MLA concerned.
He said both the BJP and the Congress were two sides of the same coin and least interested in betterment of Uttarakhand.
UKD central secretary Sanjay Chetri was also present at the news conference.
