BUDGAM, Dec 29: Waheed Ahmed Ganie of Celestial Buds School won the District Budgam Cycling Championship, while Adil Teli of Arco Cements and Parwez Ahmed of Celestial Buds School bagged 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
In the Junior Category, Mohmiss Ismail of J&K Police got first place, while Sheikh Saqib of Ansari Toyota bagged 2nd place and Suhail Ahmed Dar claimed 3rd position.
In Sub-Junior category, Tawheed Ahmed of Ansari Toyota bagged first place, Aqib Ahmed and Tajamul Farooq got 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
The race was flagged off by DO Narbal, Vilayat Hussain and Muzaffar Ahmed Bhat, Chairman Celestial Buds School, who later-on distributed medals and certificates among the winners.
The position holders will be selected for forthcoming State Cycling Championship which will held at Jammu next month.
The Championship was organised by District Budgam Cycling Association under the banner of J&K Cycling Association. Muhstaq Ahmad, Joint Secretary J&K Cycling Association was also present on the occasion.
