"Narendra in Delhi and Devendra in Maharashtra have resulted in "Daridra" (poverty) for the common man," said Chavan. "Even after fifty days since demonetisation, hardships of the common man, farmers still continue. Prime minister should answer the questions posed by party vice president Rahul Gandh," he added.

CHAVAN DEMANDS AND QUESTIONS

Chavan also demanded a judicial probe in the cash seizures from vehicles allegedly belonging to two BJP ministers. "Cash was seized from co-operatives minister Subhash Deshmukh in Solapur. Also large sums of cash were recovered from a private car that belonged to Vaidyanath Bank. But the government seems to be in no mood to take any action against them."

Chavan also demanded that the restrictions on withdrawal of money be lifted with immediate effect and till the time these restrictions are in place, a special interest at the rate of 18 per cent per annum be given to all.
