Police Arrest Another Suspect of Pulomas Murder Case

TEMPO.CO, Bekasi - Joint police task force arrested another suspect responsible for the sadistic murder in Pulomas, East Jakarta.

The suspect, Alfin Bernius Sinaga was captured immediately after he and his three friends paid a visit to a house in North Bekasi to celebrate Christmas on Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2016.

Based on the information obtained by Tempo, there were four people visiting the house owned by Ruya Butarbutar at around 5.00 PM; two men and two women. After an hour, four of them headed back home.

“Not long after, there was an arrest made near a mosque close by,” said Ruya’s son, Paltak Pratama, on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Paltak admitted that he was surprised because they were the guests visited his house not long before the arrest was made.

Paltak said that he did not personally know the people. According to him, they were friends of his parents’ that came to celebrate Christmas at his house. He added that it was their first visit there.

This arrest was made possible after police investigated two suspects that were caught earlier, Ramlan Butarbutar and Erwin Situmorang, at a house located in Rawambulu District, Bekasi City, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

Ramlan, who acts as the group’s leader, was killed during the arrest. Meanwhile, Erwin was managed to be neutralized. They are all suspects of the home robbery in Pulomas, East Jakarta.
