GURUGRAM: A 32-year-old man, who works at a stone crusher, was robbed of his Toyota Etios car, two mobile phones and cash at gunpoint on the city’s outskirts on Tuesday night.
Jagroop Yadav (32) was returning home at Khurampur Khera village, Farrukhnagar, from Kherki Daula around 11.30pm in his Toyota Etios, when four men attacked him near Badha Chowk in Sector 85 and drove off in the car.

Yadav works as a supervisor at a stone-crushing unit, owned by one of his relatives, at Kherki Daula.
In his complaint to police, Yadav claimed that he had stopped his silver colour Etios on the way near Badha Chowk to relieve himself. Meanwhile, a car came from behind and four men got off the four-wheeler. Suddenly, one of them allegedly took out a gun, pointed at Yadav and snatched his car keys.
“They also snatched my wallet with more than Rs 10,000 in cash and two mobile phones. The four then pushed him onto the Etio’s rear seat and fled. They kept driving the car for around an hour and threatened to kill me if I raised any alarm. Finally, they pushed me out of the car near Dwarka expressway and disappeared,” Yadav alleged.
He said he generally used the same route on his way home late at night, but this was the first time when such an incident took place.
An FIR has been registered against four unidentified men under Section 379-B (snatching and use of force) of the IPC and sections of the Arms Act at Kherki Daula police station. But, the police are yet to make any headway.
“We are investigating the case. Our teams are on the job. We hope that the culprits will be behind bars soon,” said inspector Yashwant Yadav, station house officer, Kherki Daula police station.
