Cop dies of cardiac arrest on election duty

SURAT: A 50-year-old assistant sub-inspector, who was on duty for panchayat elections at Pardi town in Valsad district, died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday. Daya Madhav More was admitted to a local hospital after he complained of chest pain. However, he suffered cardiac arrest and died. “He was kept in reserve since he had complained of chest pain,” said Sunil Joshi, superintendent of police, Valsad. tnn
