Foreign nationals who have embraced Sikhism will be taking part in the 350th birth anniversary celebrations of
Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh master, to be held at Patna's Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib, his birthplace, from January 1 to 5.
While talking to TOI on Monday, North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) executive director Satnam Singh Chahal said that 45 foreign nationals who have adopted the Sikh faith would be landing at Amritsar's Guru Sri Ramdas International Airport on Tuesday.
After paying obeisance at the Golden Temple and Akal Takht, the converted
foreigner Sikhs would be visiting Goindwal Sahib, Anandpur Sahib and other prominent Sikh religious places before reaching Patna on January 2 for the celebrations.
The group comprises men and women from US, China, Spain, Argentina, Switzerland, Russia, Canada, UK and Italy.
