AAP demands CBI probe
GANDHINAGAR: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded a CBI inquiry into rape and murder of Patidar woman of Mandvi in Bhavnagar district. AAP leader and Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia visited the family of rape and murder victim Bhavnaben Patel in Mandvi on Monday . Sisodia said: “We will raise this matter with Union home minister Rajnath Singh and demand a CBI inquiry.
Women and girls are afraid to go to college in due to harassment by men.
Police are not helping in this case. People are angry over police inaction.“ Sisodia alleged, “in Gujarat, it is not the graph of development but crime that is going higher.“ Sisodia also met the residents of Bodekdev in Ahmedabad who are fighting against Nirma School for alleged encroachment on a public plot. Reacting to Sisodia's comments, state BJP president Jitu Vaghani said, “The AAP leaders are trying to politicize the unfortunate incident.“
