MUMBAI: NMAT which is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) recorded a 17% growth in registration this year. The total registrations closed at 82,928 against 70,950 last year.
Close to 19 management schools accept NMAT results. Features like single sign-on, inclusion of 12 mobile wallet options for payment along with addition of five new test centers and three institutionsXavier University, Bhubaneswar; MISB Bocconi and Shiv Nadar University accepting the test results have significantly contributed to the changes.

Five new test centers have opened in Pune, Gurgaon, Jamshedpur, Baroda and Manipal respectively making it to 32 centers in 24 locations. Gaurav Srivastava, regional director, South Asia, GMAC said “The NMAT offers candidates convenience in terms of the overall testing experience and sending their online scores to multiple schools free of cost. Schools also enjoy benefits like free access to a diverse set of candidates who are interested in them through a state-of-the-art dashboard that allows them to grow their applicant pool and diversify their student body.” TNN
