Viewing guide for notable Europeans at the World Junior Championship

After a brief stint with the Wild this season, Joel Eriksson Ek has been fantastic in the SHL this season. Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire

After going into detail on every player for Team Canada and Team USA at the IIHF World Junior Championship, it's time to go through some of the other top prospects at the event representing the other half of the world.

This is not a comprehensive list of all the "good European prospects" at the tournament by any means; rather, it's just a list of players I find notable for one reason or another. Teams with prospects covered here include Sweden, Finland, Russia, Czech Republic and Switzerland. I've also included my picks for the medals, as well as the all-tournament team and MVP.

Let's run through the scouting notes to get you ready for the event -- or as a handy viewing guide to follow along once the action gets started Monday.
