KARACHI: The federal government would further improve new Hajj Policy to facilitate Hujjaj and it will be announced soon. Due to the changes made in the ‘Hajj Policy’ during last four years it has attracted more pilgrims to perform Hajj on government sponsored ‘Hajj Scheme’ rather than going with the private sector operators. This was expressed by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Tuesday night at the occasion of greeting the orphans who have arrived here from Manshera in courtesy to Sufa Academy on holidays. There would be more improvements in new Hajj Policy to encourage Hujjaj, he informed. During the last four years, the government has put a lot of efforts and hard work to streamline the Hajj department and its approach to encourage Hujjaj amid their religious rituals at holy places, he educated. He said that the services being provided would give a new approach to the performance of Hajj and because of the treatment to individuals is disregarding of private Hajj administrators and this to be needs to the legislated as ‘Hajj Scheme’. Despite the Hajj quota restrictions the Hajj department had received much more applications for Hajj, last year, he informed. Wealthy people can help have not of our society and it is their religious duty to help others if they have financial resources, he urged.
