MCPO Award 2017

Collaboration contest held between MediBang and Manga CPO
JAPAN, TOKYO - December 21st, 2016

After a huge succes collaborating with Shueisha's Shonen Jump+, MediBang is now working altogether with Manga CPO to launch the next manga contest that could result in getting your manga viewed by over 35 million people all around the world.

The Winner will get their manga published by Sōgeisha and win 300.000yen (about 2500$) cash prize. The winner will also be invited to Fukuoka for the Award event and exhibition.

Famous mangaka such as Ueyama Tochi (Cooking Papa), Rikudô Kôshi (Excel Saga, etc.), Minazuki Suu (Night Keeper, Heaven's Lost Property, etc.) will be part of the jury of the manga section and illustrator such as Mikimoto Haruhiko (famous for The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Gunbuster, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) will be part of the illustration jury.

Entries will be accepted through MediBang's website (https://MediBang.com/) until February 15th, 2017. Submissions should be completed one-shot stories that are 30 pages long max and can be oriented in either left to right or right to left format.

Grand prix winner 300.000yen, work published by Sōgeisha and invitation to Fukuoka for the Award event and exhibition.
Excellence Award 200.000yen
Honorable Mention 100.000yen

MediBang's last collaboration contest received over 900 submissions from all over the world which was far more than expected !
