HYDERABAD: Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra directed Hyderabad collector Rahul Bojja to expedite acquisition of the affected properties in Sultan Bazar, Badichowdi and Putlibowli areas for which consents have been received from the property owners.
He also instructed GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy and the Land Acquisition officer to expedite the acquisition of the remaining few affected properties in Yousufguda and Jubilee Hills.
Reviewing the Special Task Force (STF) progress on Hyderabad Metro Rail project on Tuesday, the chief secretary informed senior officers that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wants that the Hyderabad Metro Rail project is completed fast and that all government departments extend full support for execution of this prestigious project in a fast track mode.
He advised secretary, Minorities Welfare to immediately handover the affected Wakf properties at Musheerabad junction and RTC crossroads.
HMRL managing director NVS Reddy gave a detailed presentation on the progress of the works and informed Pradeep Chandra that 61 km of foundations, 58 km of pillars and 49 km of viaduct have been completed.
