New York-based artist Roger Ballen's latest book, a publication by Sunaparanta, Goa Centre for the Arts in collaboration with PhotoInk, made its India debut with a celebration in Goa on December 19.

Titled Nothing is More Real Than Nothing, the book's launch was attended by art supporters Sunil Munjal and Kiran Nader, museum head Tasneem Mehta, Amin Jaffer of Christie's, film director Mira Nair, gallerists Roshini Vadehra, Mortimer Chatterjee, Conor Macklin, Arshiya Lokhandwala and Prateek and Priyanka Raja, director of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and collectors Akshay Chudasama and Czaee Shah.

Designed by Devika Daulet-Singh (who is Ballen's gallerist in India as well as the book's co-publisher), the must-have also features an essay by Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi. Guests present were treated to a dinner party by Dattaraj and Dipti Salgaocar after getting a first look at Ballen's work. See the best pictures from the evening here.
