lawmaker from the Islamic-based Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Yudi Widiana Adia, did not answer a summon by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Monday.
The KPK was scheduled to question Yudi in connection with an investigation into alleged graft in a number of projects by the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry in Maluku and North Maluku provinces.
“[Yudi] has not informed us as to why he did not show up today,” KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said.
Lawmaker Musa Zainuddin from the Islamic-based National Awakening Party (PKB) also failed to appear for questioning on Monday. “He has filed a reschedule request,” Febri said.
The KPK has named the commissioner of PT Cahaya Mas Perkasa, So Kok Seng, aka Aseng, a suspect in the case.
