While several designers refused to dress the US President-elect Donald Trump's wife Melania, Calvin Klein has offered to do the honours. The famous fashion designer has agreed to make the inauguration dress for the first lady if no one else comes on board.
Calvin has earlier designed for Michelle Obama and now, unlike other high profile designers, he offered to make Melania's clothes. "Of course, I would," Calvin told TMZ. However, there are other A-list designers who have not made the mistake to leave out the opportunity to dress the first lady.
Tommy Hilfiger, Marcus Wainwrigh and Thom Browne are among the designers who agreed to design for Melania. Here are the statements made by these high-profile designers.

"Yes, I would dress Melania. I think she is a beautiful woman who would make any designer's clothes look great." – WWD

On the other hand, fashion designers who refused to make clothes for the first lady were Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Sophie Thealett.
