Guns 'n Roses fans queued all night in Tralee to get their hands on tickets for the heavy rock band's highly anticipated reunion gig in Slane next May.

Tickets for the concert went on sale at 9am on Friday morning and around 20 hardy GnR fans spent all night on the street outside Tralee's Ticketmaster outlet - B-Mobile on Domnick Street - to be sure they'd get a ticket.

It proved a smart move. While many didn't expect that the concert, by a group who haven't played together in 20 years and last played Slane in 1992, would sell-out, all 80,000 tickets were gone within 24 hours.
