Wajah Tum Ho movie review: This Gurmeet Choudhary-Sana Khan's Love Sex Aur Dhoka concoction is a yawn fest!

Wajah Tum Ho, directed by Vishal Pandya, which released today revolves around series of murders which are telecasted live on the television channel. The leads, Gurmeet Choudhary, Sana Khan, Rajneesh Duggal and Sharman Joshi, get entangled in this and indulge in this cat and mouse game to arrest the khooni. When one makes a brave attempt to watch such movies, one expects that at least the movie will be so bad that it will actually be good. But this one fails to even be unintentionally funny. Please read our review and you will know what are saying.

What’s it about;

You may like to read

Inspector Kabir Deshmukh is heading the case which involves a high profile murder ( which is telecasted live) of a real estate magnate Karan (Himanshoo Malhotra) and a corrupt police inspector. His key suspect is the media mogul (!)  Rahul  (Rajneesh Duggal) whose satellite is hacked to show the murder live. Just as he is trying to get to the bottom of this, his suspect becomes the victim. Sana Khan is Duggal’s legal head, Sia, while Gurmeet who plays her on-screen lover is a state legal counsel Ranveer Bajaj. The plot revolves around the classic old love-sex-aur-dhoka theme and mostly is a yawn fest! Yeah, I mean you would expect it to have its moments and make you laugh, albeit unintentionally. But naaah! Even that does not happen.

What’s hot:

Well, one has to think long and hard to come up with something remotely alluring about this movie which drags on listlessly for two hours. But if you come to think of it, Sharman Joshi’s rendition of an honest Maharashtrian police officer is a bit believable, You feel bad for him though. He is quite a decent actor in search of at least half-decent movies but has to make do with Wajah Tum Ho and the likes! More than Sharman though, his sidekick is interesting and convincing. Even this is stretching a bit too far and there is nothing more good to say about the movie.

What’s not:

The list is long. Okay let’s see. Everything about the movie right from its plot, songs (oh! the horror of remaking the 90s songs), dialogues, acting..just is EVERYTHING is bad, bad, bad. You will be scarred by the leads’ dialogue delivery and will predict all twists in the first go. There is nothing new, exciting, unusual about the movie and the whole effort looks forced and unnecessary. In fact, judging by the trailer you would expect this movie to be a sleaze fest but it is not even that.

What to do:

It would be restating the obivous to say that please SKIP this film. You have some extra time and want to catch a movie? Then please go see something else but NOT this one. For the love of the god.
