INDORE: With the drop in the mercury level, winter special delicacies have found their way to kitchens and eateries across the city.
The residents say that winter is a season where they can enjoy yummy food. "Every day after dinner, I make sure that I go out and eat either hot jalebis or some other winter delicacies like garadu, gajar ka halwa. This is a tradition that I follow every
winter season" said Aarti Singh, a 28 years-old working professional from the city.
The dipping mercury level has also increased rush at popular food streets like
Chappan and
Sarafa during the evening and night time.
The food menu at these places has also changed according to winter including dishes like bhutte ka kis, gajar ka halwa, kesari dudh, garadu, bhutte ki kachori and many more. Many homemakers start preparing laddus and other food items with the advent of winter. TNN
