Rakul Dreaming For Rajamouli

Pretty lady Rakul Preet Singh is presently the most sought after actresses in Tollywood. Except for Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas, she acted alongside all top stars including Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. Her second film with Ram Charan that is Dhruva is turning out to be a hit. Here are few excerpts from an interview with Rakul:
How Are You Enjoying Dhruva Success?
I’m really happy with the overwhelming response for the film. I must thank audience for making the film a hit even in such dire situations due to cash crunch.
Reports had it that, you were in water melon diet while shooting for Pareshanura song?
It’s my favorite song in the film. I was on a strict diet and did not even have water for nearly 9 hours. When I felt I was thirsty, I used to eat water melon or dry fruits. Having even little water can cause abdomen to swell.
Dhruva is individually the second film for you with Charan and Surender Reddy. Bruce Lee and Kick 2 with the actor and the director respectively were disasters. How was it working with them again?
Seriously, I was surprised! In fact, it appeared to me like an eighth wonder. Even few films of SRK and Kajol tasted bitter results! If we are the pundits or we have the powers to control, we would make each and every film a big hit. And I thank, Surender Reddy for picking me again though Kick 2 was a flop.
Why didn’t you dub for Dhruva, though you did for Nannaku Prematho?
Actually I wanted to and even Surender Reddy also liked the idea. But, it couldn’t happen as I was busy with other works and only one day left for us to complete the works.
You’ve Become An Overnight Star. Did you find any change in you?
It took long time for me to reach this stage actually. And I really worked hard to acheive it.
Is Your Brother Entering Into Films?
Yes, he is making trails on his own. He is learning Telugu. Let’s see what happens.
Who’s your dream director?
I wish to work with Rajamouli gaaru. If I get an offer, I don’t even read the script.
Your current and future projects:
I have films lined up with Mahesh Babu, Sai Dharam Tej, Karthi and Naga Chaitanya. It’s almost a dream role for me in Chaitu-Kalyan Krishna film. And I’m playing an Athlete in Winner.
What Are Your Plans For This New Year?
Oh my god, I had been planning to go for a vacation with my friends for last four years. I strictly told my manager not to allot call sheets for any films for this New Year. I’ll be going to Goa along with 20-25 friends from Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi.
What Kind Of A Film You Wish To Do?
A full length romantic entertainer like Ashiqui. I also love to do films like OK Kanmani.
