Bike-truck collision claims two near Bechraji
Two persons from Lunasan village of Kadi taluka in Mehsana died when their motorcycle collided with a truck about 3km from Bechraji on Tuesday.

PALANPUR: Two persons from Lunasan village of Kadi taluka in Mehsana died when their motorcycle collided with a truck about 3km from Bechraji on Tuesday.
The duo was identified as Ramesh Thakor (35 ) and Sanjay Thakor (19). Both of them belong to Lunasan village in Kadi. According to police, the deceased were on their way to Mehsana via Becharaji, while the truck was coming from Mehsana. As the collision was head-on, Ramesh and Sanjay died on the spot.
Police said that the accident happened as the truck driver was speeding. As a result of the accident there was heavy traffic jam on the road for a couple of hours. The truck driver is on the run, added police.
